Les Hôtels Découverte, un concept - trois hôtels, massif central, auvergne, jura__________________________________________________

Night falls quickly and you return to the hotel where a wood fire awaits you.
This is the time to share the days experiences over a glass of hot wine or a cup of tea or chocolate.
The hotel is at your disposal, a dip in the pool, soak in the sauna, a session in the fitness room, a stroll around the village, or just take it easy.
The time for the evening meal approaches and new found friends can take an aperitif together in the bar, always open and serve yourselves as when you are at home.
After the meal the festivities continue with various entertainments, a game of boules, barbecue, slide show, games, competitions (each hotel has it’s own arrangements).

During the week we suggest a couple of days where we leave the hotel in the morning and depart for the day, picnic in a mountain inn and return in the afternoon.
The days pass unnoticed until it is the weekend, Friday is the last organised day and the goodbyes are made and addresses exchanged.

Saturday is the day to pack your bags, ready for the transfers back to the station and the airport.

It is sad for us to see you leave, after having spent so many enjoyable hours together.

We greet you at the hotel on Saturday. If you arrive by train or by air our shuttle is waiting at the station or airport at arranged times to transfer you to the hotel.
The hotel is yours, your room has full facilities (shower or bath with WC).
We meet again for a welcome drink, during which the organisation of the hotel and the various activities planned for the week are explained.
Everyone will begin to get to know their fellow guests as they sit down together around the dining table.
The food is simple, based on local seasonal produce, and adapted to the needs of people on an active holiday..

The following day we meet up to collect ski equipment (all included in the price of the holiday) and to choose our group.
The mornings are organised around learning ski techniques. According to your abilities you will be with a group learning the basics or improving on those abilities that you already have. We do not propose to give ski lessons as such, we want you to be at ease on your skis to better enjoy your time with us.
Back to the hotel for a copious lunch, a brief siesta and you are ready to go out again into the countryside accompanied by your hosts, looking for animal activity or to marvel at the winter landscape...
